I’m writing this as I wait for my vehicle to get serviced.
As I was leaving my work building & heading to the parking lot
I saw my car sitting on two flat tires.
I called a tow truck & a big burly dude picked my vehicle & I up
& drove us to a local car dealership.
It’s one I go to all the time -
So – I trust the place.
It’s almost 6:45 & all I can think of besides the $ signs that were shown to me is I better be outta’ here before the baseball game begins.
Let’s Go Red Sox!
Not just one flat tire
But – two
And – now they say
I need new ones
That the two flat tires are not salvageable
It could be worse
It could be all four tires
I could have no vehicle at all
And – have to take public transportation
everywhere I go
Not that there’s anything wrong with that
But – I like to come & go as I please
& not have to depend on schedules
or waiting in inclement weather
