Waiting for Spring – Storybook Corner

Waiting & waiting
for the first sign of spring
First buds on a tree
The buzz of bumble bees
Anything that her sunshine brings
Whether she waltzes in
donning soft pastels
or colors so bright
I look forward
to her happy rays of light

Lovely poem! I think Spring is finally on the way – she’s “waltzing in” slowly but surely.

This post is so refreshing and filled with glorious promise. I too cannot wait for the first yellow flowers of spring to poke their little heads through the ground.

I loved you poem about Spring RoSy. I wish we had that kind of Spring in India. Here it’s either hot, cold or rainy. The monsoon’s not bad when the rain stops once in a while.

This makes me yearn for spring. Not long now. I can almost taste it.

Wish I could taste it too. Friday night we had snow – yesterday we had more snow.
I hope the calendar is right though. It says 18 days till spring. We’ll see…

Yearning for the sun, we’ve all taken a bit of a battering this year and that respite is a wonderful and timely thing….as are your words. My favourite season has just been encapsulated into magical words.

Lovely RoSy, we all wait patiently and you know what we probably will appreciate it more this year than ever before…. ( wonder if that was the plan all along?)
